Occupational English Test (OET)

The Occupational English Test (OET) demonstrates that a candidate has the right level of English either to study for or work in the healthcare sector.

What Cambridge Professional Trainers does for you

Cambridge Professional Trainers will only prepare you for the OET if you already have an appropriate general level of English. This allows us to take a pragmatic and highly-targeted approach, isolating sub-skills and rapidly identifying what you need to achieve an overall pass grade, so that together we can map out the optimal approach to get you there.

We provide as much focussed material as you will need for practice outside training sessions, and great attention to detail in training sessions.

Cambridge Professional Trainers is an authorised OET Preparation Provider

  • The OET tests four skills: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

The Listening and Reading tests are common to all healthcare disciplines.

The Writing and Speaking tests are tailored to 12 defined healthcare disciplines.

The test can be taken in person at a test centre, or on computer (either at home or at a test centre).
